The Laboratory for Ontological Research (LORE) is a research and development lab at Simon Fraser University under the auspices of the School of Interactive Arts and Technology. We conduct research in knowledge media with focus on ontologies, interoperability, and reasoning. We apply this approach to modeling e-learning systems, building interoperable distributed systems, design space exploration, modeling users and students, modeling interactive environments and environments for knowledge sharing
