Site Plan & Local Topography:

Setting: On the prairie level on the south rim of the Qu’Appelle River valley, with trees and brush on the north-facing slopes below the site. (Quigg 1984:187)
Brief: Consists of a thick rock ring between 6 and 7m in diameter with a roughly 3.5m diameter open space in the middle. Three stone lines radiate to cairns in the NE, NW and S. The spokes are 29.5, 28.1 and 27.7m long and their cairns are 1.0, 1.2 and 1.3m in diameter. A fourth unconnected cairn lies about 25m to the E. (Quigg 1984:187).
Design: Wilson Russell suggests the link between Group 1 and Group 4 sites, with a partially-filled in tipi ring nearly becoming a central cairn.
