This is the home of FOIS.ORG, a non-legal entity representing the collection of conferences on Formal Ontology in Information Systems.

Starting with FOIS 2010, FOIS conferences will be managed by IAOA, the newly established International Association for Ontology and its Applications.

FOIS-2006

The fourth FOIS conference was held in Baltimore, USA, November 9-11, 2006. For further information on FOIS-2006, click here.

FOIS-2004

The second FOIS Conference was held in Ogunquit, Maine, USA at the Cliff House Hotel on October 17-19, 2001. FOIS-2001 is sponsored by ACM. For complete information on FOIS-2001, Click here.
