The Wordle.net application does a great job of creating an appealing word cloud image from some text, an RSS feed, or a Del.icio.us user's tag stream.

This java application is fun to play with - lots of variation in style and presentation. Below I've created a word cloud image from an RSS feed of Gleanr's "Work The Web" channel.
