We don't just design websites. We build communication tools. Probably not what you would expect from a web agency based in Nashville, but our strategic approach to content development, design, programming and promotions help us build tools that not only make your audience stand up and take notice, but help them find the information you want them to see.

Brite Revolution Brite Revolution

Brite Revolution wants to reshape the music industry with a truly unique music download site. They combine new music and philanthropy in a special way. This bold venture included every member of the cabedge patch.

For a service that isn’t just presented online but experienced online, their site’s voice, design and usability are critical. From branding, to copywriting, design, heavy programming and public relations, this project has become a great example of our capabilities. Plus, we didn’t mind testing it since it involved listening to great music. There’s so much to tell, it’s best to read about it in our case study.

Lite Cylinder: Interior Lite Cylinder: eCommerce

The Lite Cylinder Company has one of those gee-whiz products that makes you want to own one just to show it off. They call their see-through propane tanks "revolutionary" and we tend to agree.

The Lite Cylinder folks came to use needing a new website with ecommerce functionality and a way to get some serious momentum to their brand.

Through some subtle use of Flash animation on the homepage and strategically lit product photography we were able to quickly demonstrate the ground-breaking features of their products on the website. Next, our PR team hit the ground running to secure newspaper and magazine articles including (The New York Times and This Old House) about this remarkable product. The online sales started almost immediately. And, we keep adding to the list of publications that feature Lite Cylinders.

Premiere Speakers Bureau: Speakers Page Premiere Speakers Bureau: About Page

Premier Speakers Bureau handles public speaking engagements for over a thousand of the biggest personalities in the world. Names like Magic Johnson, Anderson Cooper and Lance Armstrong are common bookings.

We created design standards and a homepage user interface that features popular speakers and makes it easy for users to search for others. Whether you're browsing by topic or looking for an individual, this site takes a wealth of content and places it in easy to consume packages. Clean and intuitive: those are just two of the reasons we're proud of this design.

Rockwell Tools: Product Category Page Rockwell Tools: Product Detail Page

Rockwell makes professional-grade power tools with a focus on quality and personal service.

The design of the site allows their assortment of tools to each be featured. But, some tools just need to be seen in action. Full video wasn't in the budget, so we photographed each product then designed and developed a series of compelling Flash animations of each tool. The result is a site that is easy to navigate and makes the products heroes in both the animated headers and interior pages.

Industrial Door Contractors: Interior Page Industrial Door Contractors: Interior Page

The folks at Industrial Door Contractors have been building giant doors for giant buildings for over 25 years. And they do it all in some giant buildings of their own.

IDC was in serious need of a new web presence. This included updating their logo, compelling photography, and building a new website from the ground up. Once we visited their workspace and met their team we realized they should be the new face of the brand. IDC wanted to communicate strength and trust. Well, what better way than to show great photos of their amazing space and make their workers look like bad-you-know-whats.

IDC's work already out-performed their competitors. Now, their website and branding confirms it.

MIT: Top Level Interior Page MIT: Gift Form

At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they use their brilliant minds to do more than educate some of the world’s brightest students. Many of their initiatives are devoted to solving problems like cancer, energy consumption and technological education throughout the world. You know, simple stuff.

The Giving to MIT site is a single location to learn about giving financial support to any one of these programs. We designed a site that allows them to fit descriptions of each cause logically into one user interface. The design also gave the site its own look and feel while keeping the aesthetics of MIT’s parent site in mind.

Master Grinding | KnifePro: Product Category Page Master Grinding | KnifePro: Product Detail Page

Master Grinding Service, Inc. sells and sharpens knives at their Rockaway, NJ location. They came to us to develop a trio of websites to bring those services to any online customer.

Simultaneous creation and re-branding involving logos, content development, design, and ecommerce created an enjoyable challenge for us. Our clean information architecture, educational content, and superb product photography made creating lush designs for these sites a pleasure. We also developed a client-side database, allowing them to manage their own products and ecommerce.

In the end, we got to launch three sites that we’re truly proud of on one day. Plus, we’ve all got a bunch of KnifePro knives for our own kitchens now.

Bell & Associates Construction: Project Page Bell & Associates Construction: Logo

Bell builds things well and builds them big. Very big. Stadiums, hotels and highways are all in their portfolio.

Just like their projects, Bell & Associates needed us to build something big for them. We started with a visual re-branding and logo which was used for the website, microsites, newsletters, and other print collateral. The design included an architecture that allowed the client to update the site on their own as construction projects were completed. Photos, written content, and press releases were needed in each update. Eventually, Bell realized the need for a wider range of websites and media presence. We continue to work with them by providing design, development and public relations. Learn more about this project in our case study.

Cacties: Category Landing Page Cacties: Product Detail Page

Cacties apparel combines the mystique of the Old West with the styles of the office. They needed an ecommerce site that demonstrated the high quality of their products and showed the personality and whimsy of their brand.

Our designs and CSS coding created a site that features their products boldly and allows users to easily explore the items on the site without losing the feeling, like it’s just another catalog site. Like their products, the site is a great combination of form and function.

Zibra | Wrap Rage Cure: Case File Page Zibra | Wrap Rage Cure: Product Detail Page

Zibra prides itself on making household products that uniquely fill your needs. Their OpenIt! does exactly what you think it would to tough packages.

Designing this Flash microsite was fun from conception to launch. Users experience the product in two distinct ways. First, they can explore and listen to the audio stories we produced of some pretty unique characters experiencing the frustrations of Wrap Rage. Next, users get a 360-degree view of the special features of this amazing tool.

We really flexed our writing, design, photography, Flash programming, and audio production muscles to make this Gold Addy winning site

Rustici Software: Scorm Driver Page Rustici Software: Scorm Explained Page

Rustici Software owns the domain scorm.com and they deserve it. Their total expertise is devoted to SCORM solutions.

SCORM is a set of standards for e-learning software. Compliance with this government reference would mean understanding over 1300 pages of text. The folks at Rustici take care of that compliance easily with their software. But explaining what SCORM is and how they help to non-technical users was quite the challenge. So, we created an information architecture, content, and design that easily explains what it is and how they help.

What they do is make an incredibly complex thing simple. And fortunately, that's exactly what we did for their users.

Users experience rich media throughout the site with podcasts and videos. We not only created and developed the Flash/Javascript player for the media, but also developed a web-based admin that allows the client to update audio and video on their own.

The Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) is the largest provider of privately managed prisons in the U.S.

This project began with creating a deep site heavy on content. So, our design needed to be clean and flow well. We also demonstrated our programming prowess on this one. Client-side content management, online job applications and applications to manage it all are just some of the custom development solutions we provided. Along with the main site, we’ve developed several ancillary sites and have more in the works. There are too many successes to list here, so learn about CCA more in our case studies.
